Fried zucchini flowers
Thank you to the beautiful entrepreneur Nathaly Riverin, president of Canary Red and some Pop-up gardening shop, for making me taste fried zucchini flowers for the first time! What happiness in the mouth!! wow! I still dream about it!
A recipe she learned in Italy!
For 8 courgette flowers
8 zucchini flowers (several techniques on Youtube to learn how to pick and prepare them!), rinsed
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tbsp. mint soup, finely chopped
1 tbsp. finely chopped chives
Oil for frying
In a bowl, mix the feta with the mint and chives.
Stuff each of the flowers with the mixture. Close well.
Put flour on a plate and coat each of the flowers. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
In a frying pan, heat a good amount of oil (about 1 cm). When hot, fry the flowers for a few minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
