By booking a workshop with Madame Germaine, you, as well as the participants in your group, are deemed to consent to all the conditions described in the Reservation, Lateness, Extension, and Cancellation Policy for our workshops.

Private Group at Madame Germaine's or at Home

RESERVATION

• At Madame Germaine's, a minimum of 8 participants is required (or a minimum fee for 8 will be charged if fewer than 8 participants show up on the day of the workshop), except;

  • From November 20 to December 24, for an evening reservation, a minimum of 10 participants is required (or a minimum fee for 10 will be charged if fewer than 10 participants show up on the day of the workshop).

• At Home, a minimum of 10 participants is required (or a minimum fee for 10 will be charged if fewer than 10 participants show up on the day of the workshop).

• A time slot is officially reserved upon payment of the deposit through Madame Germaine's website shop.

• The format varies depending on the number of registered participants.

PRICING

• The cost per participant varies based on the number of participants (details available in the website shop)

• Prices shown are before taxes

• Gratuity is extra

• The invoice must be paid in full within 5 days following the date of the workshop. Interest of 2% per month (26.82% annually) will be charged on outstanding amounts.

LATENESS OR EXTENSION OF A WORKSHOP

DELAYED START (The group is late!)

• A fee of 10% of the total value will be added to your invoice if the workshop starts 30 to 60 minutes late. A fee of 20% of the total value will be added if the workshop starts more than 60 minutes late.
  
• A workshop that starts more than 60 minutes late may have to be shortened (without compensation) if it causes a scheduling conflict with any other planned event.

EXTENDED DURATION (The group stays longer!)

• Private Groups at Madame Germaine’s or at your home last 150 or 240 minutes (2.5 or 4 hours) depending on the chosen package. Exceeding the scheduled duration will be billed at a rate of $100 / hour.

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION FOR A WORKSHOP

• Cancellation 4 days before the reservation: the workshop is payable but exchangeable for another workshop of the same value, subject to availability, within one year following the cancellation.
  
• Cancellation 2 days before the reservation date: the workshop is payable in full.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION

• Cancellation 20 days before the event: 25% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged, except;

  • From November 20 to December 24, cancellation 30 days before the event: 25% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

• Cancellation 10 days before the event: 50% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

• Cancellation within 72 hours preceding the event: 75% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

Workshop Open to All (Online or In-person)

RESERVATION

• A spot is officially reserved upon full payment through Madame Germaine's website shop.

CANCELLATION

• Cancellation two weeks before the reservation: the workshop is exchangeable for another workshop of the same value, subject to availability, within six months following the cancellation (credit).

• Cancellation within 72 hours preceding the reservation: the workshop is payable in full (no credit).
  

• A spot may be transferable (please contact us to provide the contact details of the replacement person).

• A minimum order for 12 people is required.

• For the "Grande Tablée" lunch menu at Germaine's, gratuity is extra

• For takeout, a 5% administration fee is charged. Opt for washable containers that you return to us, and we will waive this fee!

• For customers picking up takeout orders, a fee of 10% of the total value will be added to your invoice if there is a 30 to 60-minute delay. A fee of 20% of the total value will be added for delays of more than 60 minutes.

EXTENDED DURATION

• Private groups at Madame Germaine’s have a duration of 2 hours. Exceeding the scheduled duration will be billed at a rate of $100 / hour.

CHANGE IN NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER ORDER

• 4 days before the reservation: the order is payable in full according to the number ordered.

ORDER CANCELLATION

• Cancellation 14 days before the event: 25% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

• Cancellation 7 days before the event: 50% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

• Cancellation within 72 hours preceding the event: 75% of the minimum projected invoice will be charged.

Madame Germaine occasionally reviews her policies and procedures. As such, she may modify the Reservation, Lateness, Extension, and Cancellation Policy for our workshops without prior notice.

In case of discrepancy in interpretation or content, the French version of the policy shall prevail.
